Our Sinhala & Hindu New Year Festival
10th April 2026 , our school grounds came alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Sinhala & Hindu New Year. It was a wonderful day of community and culture as students, staff, and parents gathered to welcome the new year with traditional fervor.

Traditional Rituals: The festivities began with the lighting of the oil lamp, honoring the auspicious customs that define our heritage.

Spirit of Play: The air was filled with cheers during the Avurudu Games, with spirited competitions in Kotta Pora and Kana Mutti.

Cultural Showcase: Our talented students moved us with beautiful folk songs and traditional dance performances.

A Taste of Tradition: We shared a delicious Avurudu Table, enjoying Kiribath and local sweets together.
